Wonderful Mexican food. This place can be really busy, go early. Locations in Breckenridge and Frisco, too. If you prefer real Mexican to Tex-Mex, ask for your order without the cheese on top.
Mountain Lion Cafe ($)
Breakfast and lunch only. Locals' favorite...good food and great value.
TiAmo Ancora ($$) Located at 10th and Highway 9 in Silverthorne, this is the new location of the well known restaurant that used to be in Frisco. Italian brothers Fiorenze Bettoni and Vincenzo Perucchini have made this into a true Italian dining experience. Absolutely wonderful food, reasonably priced wines, list of Grappas, and a full bar. You won't be sorry if you try this one. Reservations recommended during ski season.
Old Dillon Inn ($$)
"Mexican food" is a variable item, some folks like it really hot and spicy, others just like it nice-and-easy.
Nick n' Willy's ($$) Take-and-bake pizza. Yummy and lots of choices. Good salads too.
Village Inn ($$)
A chain. Decent food, decent prices. Breakfast anytime.
